The wheals on the bike go round and round...

What to make your self REALLY want to go out and ride over lunch?

Ahhhhh, what a wonderful weekend, Melissa and I took a little "us" time and headed 1 1/2 hours south east to Kennit Square PA. Got to see the fireworks at Longwood gardens, at some wonderful food, drank some local micro beers at Mackensies Brew pub.

Numbers on the day:
Time: 33:13
Avg: 12.5 mph
Max: 22.1 mph
Trip: 6.9 miles

As for the ride in today, OUCH , oh the pain
1) New Crank Set
Deore LX

Solid crank set, wonderfully stiff and does not miss a beat. One interesting set back with a ordering snafu, is my replacement gears are 26,36,48 while the old set were 22,32,44. There is a notifiable difference at the extreme ends of the spectrum.

2) New Front Deraileur
Deore LX
The good boys at my LBS were not able to get this put on in time, the existing POS that was on the bike was not shifting for crap with the new chain set so this was the answer. Dave H. and I sat in the back yard with drinks and set this bad boy up. WOW what a difference, now I need a new controller to run it.
